The Pest Informer, based in North Carolina, is looking for households to release approximately 100 cockroaches to experiment with pest control techniques and gauge their effectiveness.
The study would last for 30 days.
“As technology advances, we’re always looking for the newest and greatest ways to get rid of pests (cockroaches specifically),” ThePestInformer said. “In this study, we’re willing to pay homeowners $2,000 for us to release American cockroaches into your home.”
David Floyd, founder of ThePestInformer, told NBC News more than 2,200 families had applied as of Monday.
Homeowners who participate will not be allowed to use additional cockroach treatments throughout the duration of the study.
A million dollars is not enough to let a company put Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in my house
Pest control poisons are toxic and can cause long term damage. I would only use them in an emergency. Never intentionally.
Not for a million dollars.
Hedyot kofetz be’roach..
now do the House of Representatives!! I’ll pay them $1000!
I’ll let them in my home, but they have to bring their own food and beds, unless they want to sleep on the floor; that’s okay with me. But I’m not going to turn my home into a hotel for them.
What about termites?
Mr Wonderful?
I’d pay them to put them in my Shvigger’s house
