BROOKLYN (VINnews) Due to an uptick in recent Asian hate crimes in New York City, Jewish Councilwoman Inna Vernikov has formed a new neighborhood patrol group, modeled upon Shomrim.

This week, a two-hour meeting took place between Shomrim, Jewish leaders, and leaders of the Asian community in the Councilwoman’s district. They discussed operations, strategies, funding, and other issues that are involved in creating a new patrol.
Since Shomrim has already created a highly effective team and process, their knowledge and wisdom should prove highly beneficial to the new group.
Next, the Asian group will tag along with actual Shomrim patrols and watch them in action. In addition they will meet with NYPD officials.
Sadly, the Jewish and Asian communities in New York City have a common bond, both being targets of hate crimes. Although it should never be needed, it is nice to see Councilwoman Vernikov unite two minority groups, both frequently abused and victimized, on a mission to protect their respective communities.
She’s great as she is independent of the self appointed self serving so called a$kanim only interested in money for THEMSELVES
It is a kiddush hashem that shomrim is making.
Thanks, Ina Vernikov for setting this up.
How to say chaptzem in Chinese
Vote republican or else this country will be finished…
I don’t understand why is there a recent uptick in crimes against orientals. Does it have anything to do with the China virus?
