WASHINGTON (Yaakov M / VINnews) — On January 6th, during the infamous riots, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told aides she was ready to knock out President Trump if he dared to travel to the Capitol as rioters swarmed the complex.
Previously unseen footage, shot by Pelosi’s daughter, filmmaker Alexandra Pelosi, shows Pelosi in an office reacting to Trump’s speech, during which he encouraged supporters to march to the Capitol and that he would join them to protest the certification of Joe Biden.
The video aired for the first time on Thursday.
“Tell him, if he comes here, we’re going to the White House,” Pelosi joked before laughing.
Trump urged his followers to head to the U.S. Capitol building to protest the certification of the Electoral College votes confirming that Joe Biden had won the 2020 election victory. Trump also assured the crowd that he would join them.
As Pelosi watched the conclusion of the rally, however, an aide assured her that the Secret Service had decided they would not be driving Trump to the Capitol.
“If he comes, I’m going to punch him out,” Pelosi said. “I’ve been waiting for this, for trespassing on Capitol grounds. I’m going to punch him out, and I’m going to go to jail, and I’m going to be happy.”
The footage of Pelosi’s remarks, and her response to the riot, was shown for the first time on CNN on Thursday night.

It was all a set-up, her film making daughter just happened to be there taping her mother on that day. Granted it was supposed to be an occasion but it seems too much of a coincidence to have a whole film crew.
