AOC received a taste of her own medicine, as she was yelled at by protesters at a Queens campaign event organized by her campaign.
The group started to chant “AOC has got to go” while playing bongo drums as AOC “danced” along to their chants. At one point the lights shut off and AOC was escorted out of the room.
Unlike a town hall last week in the Bronx, where she was heckled by anti-war protesters at an event with a low turnout, the town hall in Queens was packed, and protesters were focused on multiple issues.
Protesters spoke out against surging crime rates in NYC, mandates, and other topics. Pro AOC supporters then clapped and thanked her for being at the event.
Not so ironically, AOC has used similar disruptive tactics in the past against other politicians. In 2019 she joined a group of left-wing legislators in a walk across the Capitol.
Recently, she was escorted by police from a protest over abortion — and pretended to have been handcuffed, after which she gave a lame excuse once she was discovered to be faking.

At least she had a town hall where people could talk to her. My local congresscritter travels in a bubble of yes-men.
She also affects a stereotypical Latina accent.
