THAILAND (VINnews) — A seemingly absent-minded husband inadvertently abandoned his wife in the middle of a jungle, after stopping for a bathroom break. (Don’t you hate when that happens?)

Boontom Chaimoon of Thailand, age 55, was traveling with his wife Amnuay back home for the holidays. He pulled over on the side of the road…in the middle of a jungle!
His wife was apparently annoyed with his decision and questioned why he didn’t just drive to a gas station, according to reports. Either way, his wife decided to exit the car as well, but Boontom did not hear her mention that, and when he returned, he figured that she had decided to rest in the back seat, so he drove off, leaving her stranded.
In the middle of a jungle at night.
Yikes.
Amazingly, she proceeded to walk to the next town, over 12 miles away, through the dark Thailand jungle, without basic amenities like a phone, iPad, smartwatch, or Tesla.
Amnuay made it to a police station, but like many people in 2022, didn’t have her husband’s phone number memorized, so it took hours for police to get in touch with him.
When they did finally make contact with Boontom, he had driven all the way to Korat province… 100 miles away!
Boontom turned around and drove back and picked up the wife, who told local reporters that she’s not upset with him and forgives him.
Hey, at least it was better than flying Southwest Airlines, or being forced to watch CNN for hours on end.
Slow news day a VIN!?
Accident? I think not.
He drove 100 miles and didn’t realize that there was something wrong when there was no yapping? Lolol
He wasnt worried for her safety because he knew that she has her covid mask on.
I only have 25% of life’s “basic amenities”! This explains so much.
Yes… no, I don’t think it was an accident.
Very suspicious
loved the ending of this article. Thanks VIN!
Nu nu. Not the end of the world. The women have to know who’s boss.
