(Jerusalem) – Today, Monday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will arrive in Jerusalem, where he will meet the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu where he is scheduled to duscuss various US concerns over the policies of Netanyahu’s new right-wing government. Blinken’s agenda will be slightly hampered in the aftermath of the deadliest terror incident in eleven years where 7 people were brutally murdered in Nevei Yaakov.

Earlier on Monday, Blinken met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in Cairo on Monday, US State Department spokesman Ned Price said.
In that earlier meeting Blinken discussed the importance of unified international support for elections to be held in Libya, and underscored the importance of the Framework Political Agreement to the democratic aspirations of the Sudanese people.
It will be a three day visit to the middle east.
In Cairo, Blinken also met with Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry regarding attempts to relaunch a political transition in Sudan and how to resolve the deadlock between rival factions in Libya.
