JERUSALEM (VINnews) — A senior member of the Islamic Jihad terrorist group, Sheikh Khader Adnan, died Tuesday morning in the Nitzan facility after hunger striking for 86 days. A few hours after his death was announced, rockets were fired from the Gaza strip, landing in open territory in the Western Negev.

The IDF stated that three rocket launchings had been identified, but there was no need for Iron Dome to intercept them and they fell in open territory.

The Islamic Jihad announced a general strike in Judea, Samaria and Gaza over the death of Adnan. The Palestinian Authority demanded an investigation into his death in jail.

Adnan, who in the past had also initiated hunger strikes while in jail in Israel, had been arrested for the tenth time on suspicion of membership in a terrorist organization, supporting and inciting terrorist activity. He refused to accept any medical treatment or undergo tests and was found unconscious in his cell Tuesday morning. Later he was declared dead after being taken to the Assaf Harofeh hospital.

On a previous occasion when he was released from jail, Adnan said: ‘Don’t ask how much weight I lost, ask how much honor I gained. I thought I would die a martyr’s death- I didn’t agree to medical treatment even when my condition was very severe.”

I am sure even Paul can agree that if one dies from a hunger strike they were suicidal . What’s there to investigate? We agree he died from hunger but it was his fault and his choice . It’s need not be our concern

He starved himself to death refuses medical attention and believes that he will get olam habah and receive heavenly rewards.
And this is Israel’s fault. They should all be demanding incarceration to follow in his foot steps

quick use $ 1 million dollar rockets to bomb empty old buildings AND warn the terrorists before that you are bombing them. This is in line with the Zionists humanistic values.
