JERUSALEM (VINnews) — The Ukrainian government issued a stern warning to Israel Sunday, stating that the deportation of Ukrainian citizens from Israel is endangering the entire Uman enterprise due to take place in the coming weeks.

The warning was made in a speech by Ukrainian president Volodymr Zelensky and was transmitted by the Ukrainian ambassador to Israel, Yevgen Korniachuk, stating that “If the deportation of Ukrainians by Israel won’t stop, Israelis will be prevented from entering Uman. Ukraine will cancel the visa waiver agreement with Israel.”
The ambassador called on Prime Minister Netanyahu to reconsider the entry policy regarding Ukrainians.
Korniachuk added that “The Ukrainian government will not accept the humiliation of its citizens on entering Israel. We will stop visa waiver agreements, this possibility is on the government’s agenda.
“It is unthinkable that we should go out of our way to host tens of thousands of Israelis in Uman, with high security risks and huge logistic efforts and at the same time the Israeli government is mistreating our citizens arriving in Israel based on the treaty between the two countries. If Israel wants its citizens to arrive in Israel as tourists, including Uman, I believe that Prime Minister Netanyahu must personally intervene in finding a solution to the present situation.
According to immigration authority data, about 10% of Ukrainians arriving in Israel are refused entry. The authorities said that this was not unique to Ukraine and other countries also had similar numbers of entry refusals.
Sounds like a good deal! Everyone will stay where they belong, the Ukrainians in the Ukraine and the Jews in Israel
There are no good guys in this war, there are bad guys and worse guys . Zelensky always was a scoundrel, is a scoundrel, and will always be a Ukrainian first – Jew last scoundrel
Ask any holocaust survivor ( not many left) and they will tell you that the Ukrainian goyim were the most savage of all towards the Jews
They were Hitler’s יש״ו willing executioners
No problem. It should not be Israel’s problem to take in non-Jews from the Ukraine. As far as people making the annual trek to Uman, the alternative of spending Yom Tov with their wives and families in Israel is also a good thing.
That’s perfect! They should not be leaving E”Y anyway. I’m pretty sure that going to Uman is not covered by the three heterim for leaving E” Y.
Great! close Uman down big waste of money and time
Ukrainians are one if the most antisemitic nations and the fact that their current president was born in Jewish family doesn’t make him or them any favor..and this behavior and threats to frum Jews visiting Uman, shows his true face!
Good. Stop going to uman.
According to the Chasam Sofer, leaving Yerushalayim like this could be life threatening.
Halivay – God willing they will not let the Breslovers into Uman this year. Daven god for this.
There is no reason to go and support the Ukrainian bums who througout our time living there Pogromed us, abused our Motheres and grandmother, killed our old men, maimed the children etc.
The holy Reb Nachman who loved every yid with all his heart, cried from the sadness for the yiddens troubls, is horrified we support a entire city of our wost enimies. If you feel for REb Nachman dont go.
The grave of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov should be moved to Eretz HaKodesh.
Let’s hope the Israeli government stands firm and doesn’t allow Erer Yisroel to be flooded by undesirable Ukrainians, many of whom are anyway goyim.
Is it not forbidden to enter a מקום סכנה anyhow?
So he’s saying if you don’t let our citizens go and park in Israel you can’t come to visit Ukraine for 48 hours. This guy is delusional.
The intermarried Zelenskyy is right. As American taxpayers, it is our duty and obligation to send Mr. Zelenskyy and his Ukrainian olagarch buddies billions more of our hard earned tax dollars. He’s earned it. He deserves it.
Forget Ukraine. They think they’re real top dog these days. Nothing can make up for the slaughter of Jews during wwii. Israel does not need Ukraine.
What a chutzpah, for the last 2 years Ukraine is receiving without giving much back, the fact that he’s demanding weapons for everyone and now this from Israel is ungrateful and entitled, he should start showing some gratitude to the world, and rid his country of corruption and anti-semitism
Wow what a friend this meshumad clown
Zelenskyyy won the world over with his drama antics: he was an actor before he became president. What is so terrible is 90% of its citizens are allowed in and 10% are turned away? Must Israel take in everyone who shows up at its door? No country does except Guatemala, Ecuador and the likes. I don’t trust this guy.
If Uman is boycotted by not only Israelis, but also by Jews from other countries, the Ukrainians will be hit in the pocketbook where it hurts, and they will soon change their attitude.
The meshamud is infected with the hep-hep virus.
For Pete’s sake, can you do some journalism and explain why Ukrainians are being denied entry? Securty concerns?
Plus, Zelensky should be informed that the Jews visiting Uman provide much of their own Security and transportation and medical services, etc. it’s a huge boost to the local dirt-poor Uman economy.
Tell him that’s how Israel treats all visitors: rudely!
I think the Jewish community at large knows exactly who zelensky is. My experience with Ukrainians as a child was horrible. The hatred that I saw from other children was even worse then from their parents. Playing alone was a normal routine for me. I’d prefer that than being called a Zit ” a diry jew in Russian. which was the dominant language at the time because the country with considered Russia.. Ukraine and Russia going to war is just for reward from the Heavenly court. Amen I wish both countries lots of luck
Yeah right they will not refuse Uman bec they make too much money from it.
Lovely “jew”
Time for some new pajamas, Zelly.
Of course he threatened, this is the so called Jew who attacked Netanyahu for not condemning russia while he still votes against or abstains (which is ostensibly the same thing) when they vote to condemn Israel in the UN.
