JERUSALEM (VINnews) — A special police team appointed by Central District Commander Avi Bitton, together with a SWAT team from the operations department, initiated a covert investigation which led to a location in the northern city of Kiryat Yam where two young American citizens were being held. The two, Sara and Liba Goldschmidt aged 12 and 8, had apparently been kidnapped by their mother when they were supposed to be returned to their father according to visitation terms.

The special team managed to locate and rescue the girls at 2:30 AM and arrested the mother. The father was summoned to the scene to take charge of his daughters.
The mother was interrogated in the Shefela region headquarters and will be arraigned in court Tuesday . Police are asking to extend her remand in custody.
Major-General Bitton praised the work of the police who had swiftly located and rescued the girls and said that they had “conducted the investigation with professionalism and enterprise utilizing abilities, units and initiatives with great speed to bring the girls safely back and bring the suspect to justice.”
VIN – do you have consent to publish the children’s photos? They don’t deserve privacy?
Please remove this from VIN for the kids sake!!!
what a mess, poor kids, can u imagine a swat team coming and taking you at 230 am with both sides screaming
It’s of minors and not right. They didn’t ask to be there. They’re dealing with a nightmare, were removed from their sleep in middle of the night and will be traumatized. Do they really have to have their friends tell them they saw them on vos iz neias?
This is extremely boring gossip, please update the story, as to why the mother is so dangerous to the kids
So hard for the children
How is it that she lost custody in America ?
Humble Yid asks a good question: I would say that since they were born in the US, it would be hard for a parent, who takes custody, to take them to a foreign country. Torah Law, however, says differently. In Kethuvoth, we learn that if one of the spouses wants to go to the Holy Land, this request is granted. Torah Law also says mothers have custody of the girls. And even though they were born in the US, both parents were Israelis, with relatives in Israel.
It’s obviously a sad story to separate a mother from her children so why share someone else’s hardships?
Restored To Father This is True Justice, and exactly the way it should be.

No more of this sickening feminism.
Rescued the girls from their mother???
I feel bad for all involved.
