Missile Barrage Slams Into Beitar Illit, 7 Injured, 1 Seriously

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — On the third day of the Swords Of Steel campaign, Israel has succeeded in uprooting the terrorists remaining in some of the communities in the south and is ready to go on the offensive. Hamas is continuing to send rocket barrages against all the south of Israel. At 12 PM Monday, a huge barrage of missiles hit Israel, including missiles on the main Jerusalem Tel Aviv highway. There were no initial injuries reported in the center of the country, but in Ashdod and Ashkelon three people were injured, one of them critically.

At 5 PM another barrage hit the Jerusalem area, in the city of Beitar as well as the suburb of Har Adar northwest of the capital. The missiles came very close to Jerusalem, with one hitting in Even Sapir just west of Hadassah hospital at the western perimeter of the city.

The attack on Beitar left a number of people with various injuries. A missile landed in a central location in the city and a 10-year-old boy was seriously injured, suffering from shrapnel in his back.

In Abu Ghosh near Har Adar, the missile landed on a mosque and another person suffered serious injuries.
