In a moving scene from their graduation ceremony, the young recruits are seen singing Israel’s national anthem Hatikvah.
The soldiers represent only a fraction of the thousands of Charedi men who requested to join the IDF’s ranks following the deadly terrorist attacks.

Last year, a total of 1,200 ultra-Orthodox Israelis enlisted in the IDF, according to Ynet.
After completing three weeks of training, the new recruits will be assigned to medical and support roles.
According to data, since the onset of the war, roughly 3,000 Charedi men have sought to volunteer for military service, with 2,100 having completed application forms.
The new recruits underwent an expedited enlistment procedure, as opposed to standard basic training, and will be deployed primarily in administrative and logistical capacities, such as medic and social work, coordinating funerals, providing support to bereaved families and fulfilling tasks within the Technological and Logistics Directorate.
The IDF reports an unprecedented surge in enlistment requests from the Charedi community.
Hashem watch them over may we keep praying amen
Very sad:(
May Hashem watch over all of Klal Yisroel!
May HKB”H watch over them – and all our soldiers. I’m only sorry it took something like the current situation to begin opening some people’s eyes…
**How proud I am just watching these videos. May all these brave Chayalim be protected ny HaKodesh BorcchHu & return safely to their family. NEVER AGAIN will be led to the gas chambers, we will pick up arms & fight
