11 Israelis, Including 9 Children, Freed In 4th Hostage Release

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — After a delay in the release of the fourth batch of hostages from Gaza, with Israel insisting that mothers be released together with their children, the final round of releases for the 4-day cease fire took place Monday evening. Both Israel and Hamas have already expressed their agreement to extending the cease fire further and continuing the prisoner exchanges for a further period.

11 Israelis were released in the exchange, with two families including mothers and their 2 children (the fathers were left in captivity) and two other families in which the children were released without their fathers.

Family Konin- Sharon (34) and her 3-year-old twins Emma and Julie, father David remains in captivity.

Family Yaakov- Ohr (16) and Yagil (12) who were released without their father or stepmother. Yagil celebrates his Bar Mitzvah at the end of the month.

Family Kaldron- Sahar (16) and Erez (12) were released without their father Ofer. Their mother Hadas will meet them in Israel.

Family Engel- Karina Engel-Bart (52) and her children Mika (18) and Yuval (11).

At the same time, 6 Thai workers were also released by Hamas.
