According to the lawsuit, the ICRC, which has proven time and again that it is inhumane to Jews, rejected numerous family requests to send medication to Raz Ben Ami, who is reportedly fighting brain tumors.
Ms. Ben Ami, 57, is a German-Israeli hostage who was released after 54 days in Hamas captivity. Raz was kidnapped with her husband, Ohad, who tragically still remains captive, from Kibbutz Be’eri.
Raz is suing the group for not acting according to its mandate to visit the Israeli hostages in Gaza and for not guaranteeing their safety or taking action to assist in their release.
Raz Ben Ami speaks about her time as a hostage of Hamas:
“I was in Gaza and they humiliated us…In terms of food, it was one meal a day. There was no such thing as a shower – only cold water that we poured over ourselves. In the bathroom there was no way to flush the toilet… pic.twitter.com/BKBa5vND9S

She suffers from brain tumors and needs medication, however, despite pleas from her family to to bring the life-saving medication, ICRC officials in Israel, Germany and the US all rejected the family’s desperate pleas and requests.
The Shurat Hadin organization is representing Ms. Ben Ami in the lawsuit. According to the suit, the family’s appeals were acknowledged with an email dismissing the request, wishing the family luck with “reconnecting with their loved ones.”
“The International Red Cross is reliving its mistakes of the Holocaust, when it abandoned the Jewish people in its darkest period in history,” Shurat HaDin founder and President Nitsana Darshan-Leitner said. “We cannot accept this disregard and disrespect for human life just because they are Jewish.”
She also said that the ICRC is biased and does not care about the hostages.
Ms. Ben Ami said that her two months in captivity were unbearable, and that she and other hostages suffered unthinkable torment.
“At present, in the state that Gaza is in, it is not possible to cope,” she said. “There are no medicines. I took a medicine and at some stage [a Hamas member] said to me, ‘We don’t have your medicine anymore’,” she said.
She also told the media that she and other hostages were given just one meal a day and pouring water over her head was the only type of shower available. The toilets did not flush.
“It’s an everyday humiliation, mentally and physically,” she added.
Red Cross, UN etc. are & always was complicit to anti Jewish tetrorists
The Red Cross is despicable and should be sued by all the hostages!
The IRC has proven themselves to be an arm of Hamas. We all saw the videos of them marching the hostages to be released through throngs of bloodthirsty Palestinians.
In today’s world, LAWFARE is the way to wage warfare.
I wish Shurat HaDin much success in their battles.
@paul from Philadelphia.
Yo couch potato brain.
You have some nerve!
She should do what lever she feels is right after suffering so much.
As for someone like you, keep you’re sarcasm in ur big stomach.
Putz!
Where would she bring such a suit? Israel? Palestine? Maybe Switzerland?
So the claim is the Red Cross failed to live up to their “mandate.” Who imposed this requirement upon them? Whose law have they violated?
