The Clock is Ticking: Save Torah, Save Netivot.

A disturbing silence permeates Netivot. Just weeks ago, it was filled with the soothing sounds of jubilant children playing without a care in the world; its chadarimyeshivos, and kollelim were resplendent with the radiant glow of limud hatorah. But overnight, it all came to a deadly silence.

In the wake of the horrific Hamas’s Simchas Torah terror attacks on Southern Israel – the massacres taking place just minutes from Netivot, the affectionally– dubbed “Lakewood of the Negev,” its vibrant residents were forced to flee as a devastating, all-out war was launched against the barbarians who murdered 1,200 of their brothers and sisters.

The masses of Torah-true families who resided in Netivot may have protected them from the horrors of October 7th, but their lives have been destroyed. Thousands of families are residing in temporary homes across Eretz Yisroel; they and their children coping precariously with their loss of income and the extreme psychological strain of the events of October 7 and their subsequent dislocations.

At the helm of the struggle to bring a semblance of normalcy back to their lives and enable the suffering yeshivaleit of Netivot to return to their homes intact – physically and emotionally – is Rabbi Aharon Assayag, who for two decades has put unfathomable efforts into turning Netivot into a thriving center of Limud HaTorah

Under his leadership – and with the guidance of Rav Avraham Yehoshua Soloveitchik shlit”a – a fund has been set up to provide the families of Netivot with the urgent funding that is crucial to rejuvenating the Lakewood-esque Ihr HaTorah that was burgeoning just three months ago.

From income replacement to psychological therapy, this fund is doing wonders to restore the Simchas Hachaim in the residents of Netivot, empowering them to return to their lives steeped in Torah and Gemilus Chasadim

But Rabbi Assayag cannot do this alone. Without our help, the frum community of Netivot could be lost to the crushing vicissitudes of war. As bnei torah who are machshiv torah and believe that Torah Magna U’Matzla, we cannot let that happen.

Join Rabbi Assayag in his unrelenting mission to save Netivot and save Torah. Your participation today is critical.
