The three were members of Battalion 450 (The School for Squad Commanders), and fought as soldiers in the Nachshon Battalion (90) of the Kfir Brigade. They fell in southern Gaza.
The force was present in a building which blew up. Part of the building collapsed as a result of explosive devices being detonated by terrorists nearby. The terrorists were later eliminated, but three soldiers were killed and 14 injured in the incident, five of them seriously.
All three were posthumously promoted from Corporal to Sergeant.
The three were named as Sergeant Dolev Malka, 19 years old, from the northern town of Shlomi; Sergeant Yinon Itzhak, 20 years old from Mitzpe Ramon in southern Israel; and Sergeant Afik Tery, a 19-year-old from Rehovot.
Their families have been notified.
“The IDF shares in the sorrow of the families, and will continue to support them,” the IDF said.
A platoon commander and four other soldiers from Battalion 450 were seriously injured in the same incident. Nine other soldiers suffered varying degrees of injury.

Where’s AP on this story ?
Hyd! These are our hero’s. This war is needed. Bh we have the IDF to be Hashem shilach. The Zionists may have been bad in the past but now they are just clueless. They also do a lot for us now. Even if we wanted to turn the clock back we can’t now.
