Florida – Confronted with the twin evils of genocide and nuclear proliferation, a bipartisan coalition of South Florida legislators is trying to put the state’s money where its morals are.

Legislators from Broward and Palm Beach counties want the state agency that invests pension money to rid the portfolios of about $1 billion in holdings in companies that do business with the government of Iran’s energy sector.
