Brooklyn, NY – NY Jewish Community Thanks Bangor, Maine

    2

Brooklyn, NY – On behalf the NY Jewish community tragically affected by yesterday’s horrific accident on the I-95 in Argyle, Maine, where 15-year-old Gedalya Rosenblatt passed away and 13 others were injured, VIN News would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all responders. The police, the hospital staff, medical examiner, the onlookers who came to help, and the Bangor Jewish community displayed enormous care and concern to all victims. The EMMC Hospital staff, Maine State Police and local ambulance service, especially, exerted as much effort as humanely possible to assist in every and any way at the accident scene and the aftermath. We are exceedingly grateful to Miskaskim, who was available to help immensely the moment they were called upon, and was instrumental in bringing the niftar to a timely kevurah. We greatly appreciate the comfort and relief everyone provided to our brothers in need.

Maybe this is a crazy idea but…
The boys who were involved in this accident, who now realize the preciousness of life and that it can be taken away in a second (that Hashem is truly blessing every human being every second by keeping him alive)can speak to those boys who hang out on broadway in monticello, to those boys who are drifting off the derech, and try to connect to their neshamos with this important message – to tell these boys how precious life is and that Hashem loves them and is keeping them alive every single second, hoping they will find their way back to yiddishkeit. so they should not despair and get involved in self-destructive behaviors but should seek help from those who are trying to help them to get back to seeing the preciousness of life – a life that is filled with the knowledge of Hashem who loves them.
