Today, the four retired operatives, the only ones still alive, are all in their eighties:Tzvi Aharoni lives in England; Raffi Eitan made a brief appearance as an MK in the previous Knesset; Avraham Shalom, a former GSS chief; and Yaakov Gat. Although he is presumed still alive, the identity of the mysterious anesthesiologist was never revealed, since ‘he preferred to be a doctor, not a dead man.’
This past week, Sha’ah Tovah presented selections from this special interview, in which the four agents divulged many details for the first time since the operation
England – Every evening, at precisely 7:40 p.m., Riccardo Klement alighted from a dusty #203 bus and walked down a narrow path leading to his house on Garibaldi Street in the San-Fernando suburb of Buenos Aires. The path was dark and shadowy, and Klement used a small ashlight to illuminate his way home where his wife and children awaited him. Upon his arrival, the family would sit down to dinner lit by kerosene lamp.

On Wednesday, May 11, 1960, Riccardo Klement did not arrive home punctual as always. The hands of the clock ticked by as the Klements waited, unaware that they were
not the only ones becoming impatient… Several hours earlier, two black American cars had parked near the bus stop closest to Klement’s home. One was a brand-new uxury Chevrolet; the other, a run-down Buick that appeared in need of a towing. Seven men waited inside the cars – six seasoned GSS officers and a doctor. Their presence in that shadowy street was the culmination of years of searching across the world for the notorious SS Obersturmbannfuhrer Adolf Eichmann – now, nally, they were certain that they had located him.

Three men sat inside the black Chevrolet: Avraham Shalom, Deputy Chief of Special Operations; Yaakov Gat, GSS operative in Paris; and an anesthesiologist. Their mission
was to conrm that the man was indeed Eichmann, blind him with their vehicle’s headlights, and then help the other unit members escape with the captive.

The ramshackle Buick held the assault team, four in number. Their assignment was to grab Eichmann and bring him to one of their safehouses in the city. GSS Chief
of Special Operations Ra Eitan commanded the mission. Beside him in the driver’s seat sat the director of the Interrogations Department, Tzvi Aharoni, who would
interrogate Eichmann after the abduction. Tzvi Malchin, a strapping GSS operative, stood outside the car, next to the open hood; he would be the rst to attack. Beside
him was Moshe Tavor, another muscular GSS agent, who would assist Malchin in the physical assault. These two waited patiently for the conrmation signal to pounce on
Eichmann and pull him into the waiting vehicle.

If the zoinist state would not have gotten busy with “Yossele Shuchmacher” they would have caught mengele ym”sh as well.

I beg u all to not comment on #17 ,

Regardless if he is right with his argument if the zionist were helping or not, his comment is a shtik apikorses implying that tefila doesn’t help and as if an army can help when hashem wants the opposite. Its a busha that VIN even allows comments like this to be posted on a yiddishe site.

Rafael Eitan, who commanded the mission in 1960, I believe is the same individual, who in 1985, was responsible for having Jonathan Pollard abandoned by his handlers.
