WASHINGTON – A recent non-partisan straw poll found that most voters preferred Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis over former president Donald Trump as their presidential candidate for 2024.

Last weekend, the Western Conservative Summit took place at the Centennial Institute, a public policy think tank at Colorado Christian University. According to the poll’s findings, 74 percent of attendees at the Summit “approve of” DeSantis as their 2024 presidential candidate. Trump, who came in a close second, received 71 percent approval.
it goes to show how conservative the respondents were by having obama warren and biden get 3% of the opinion vote each.

I don’t put much stock in this with only 371 people polled. DeSantis and Trump are both at the top of the list regardless of how many people are polled.
Hopefully he is the new Trump Plus. Trump is not the messiah but his policies were great. The man has many flaws. desantas seems to be The Trump without the flaws
DeSanta will get hurt by the Gaetz sex scandals in FLA but at least he’s not a crazy person like trump, who is still fighting the last election with his Qanon Jan 6 militias.
