KYIV, Ukraine — Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says the country realizes that it can’t join NATO.

Speaking Tuesday to representatives of the U.K.-led Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF), Zelenskyy said that “we heard for years about the allegedly open doors” of NATO, but “we have already heard that we won’t be able to join.” He added that “it’s the truth we must recognize, and I’m glad that our people are starting to realize that and count on themselves and our partners who are helping us.”
The JEF may consist of Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Sweden and Norway.
Zelenskyy again urged Western allies to provide Ukraine with warplanes.
Maybe if he realized earlier, all of the tzaros could have been avoided.
Thousands of Ukrainians, including shayna Yidden will be arrested, deported, disappeared in a Putin-ruled Ukraine, just like in his awful Russia. He rules with his gestapo, gulag and state service police in a repressive oligarchy-tyranny. FEH.
I don’t know why Zelenskyy is giving in on such a basic request. Does it want Russia to attack it again in the future after this war is over??

WE are folding!! Don’t think for a second he is not saying what the west’s position is. We are finally coming to our senses.
Here is reality – this wont end only when the Russian people get the protection they are seeking, – NATO cannot have forces or weapons on their border. America did not like when Cuba tried putting weapons near us(even though there is water separating our countries).
Putin does has a point, America thought it can push anyone around, “hey what are you going to do about it” However, this is the lesson we must learn, we CANNOT start up with someone who has nuclear weapons. It will indeed be a hard lesson to swallow going forward.
Look how much misery, deaths, destruction we could have avoided, if we just used a little brains and logic. He is going to win anyway, why not just guarantee him Ukraine will not join NATO. Look at the “others” point of view and see their concerns.
