Zeldin also blasted Governor Hochul for refusing to take a position on the issue. Dov Hikind joined the rally, and supporters in the background held signs that said “Democrats for Zeldin.”

This isn’t for a politician to stand up and take a stand with one side, because let’s face it we’re not a United front of private schools, were a wide spectrum stretching from some of the best schools in the country like MTA and other frum schools that offer regents program and the vital structure in adolescents lives that come along with it, stretching to Hasidic schools with a joke of an English program and hitting their students (I’ve witnessed it.) who ruined it for everyone else.

Curtis sliwa is republican But at least a good and honest man and I respect Him.
He fails to mention that certain private schools do not teach the subjects and leaves their students in need and support.
There are good republicans out there and bad democrats as well but republicans are known to be arrogant, hypocrites, greedy, neglectful, etc… And this is why I do not vote republican (for the most part) and I do not completely like the democrats but will happily vote democrat. If there is a good honest repiblican out there, I will vote for them.
i disagree with him and i think he is only saying this to get jewish votes. i agree with jery nadler who said that even though he got a quality yeshiva education that he is proud of and still benefits from today, there clearly are some yeshivos that are failing greatly. i am sure that jerry learnt english, science and social studies in his yeshiva as well as the importance of eating cholent, kugel, kishka, ptcha, lokeshen, yapchik, kokish, kichel, herring, eggs by the dozen, shteimel cookies, paskez, noshkes, mendelssons, resimans, ostreichers, mehadrin, kleins and much more
Zeldin supports fake, 100% refuted nonsense that the last election was stolen. He supported the Jan 6 Failed Putsch and is against the Clean Air & Water Act. Total reactionary.
