(New York) – The New York Times covered a Hasidic wedding in the United Arab Emirates, and mentioned that there are now 10,000 Jews living in the UAE. But there is no mention of how the Abraham Accords came about.

On August 13th, 2020, President Donald Trump announced the U.S.-brokered normalization agreements between the state of Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Hours after the announcement, officials from Bahrain contacted President Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and Avi Berkowitz, with a message: “We want to be next.”
Kushner and Berkowitz travelled to Bahrain and negotiated a deal on September 11, 2020. On September 15, 2020, the Abraham Accords were signed on the South Lawn of the White House.
It has been standard for the New York Times to give a brief background about any government initiative it mentions. Indeed, in the very same issue in an article about Kaiser Permamente, the New York Times mentions the Obama administration. Could this be possible biased reporting?
Hasidic wedding?! Chabad wedding of Shliach Rabbi L Duchman!!!! It has been standard for VIN News to give a brief background about any initiative it mentions. Could this be possible biased reporting?
Should read: “Could this possibly be biased reporting”?
Neh. The NYT biased? Why would you even think that?!? They are the most balanced paper in the world. You don’t believe me ask them?
proving, yet again, that “haqarat hatov” is not a natural condition among humans, but must be taught and practiced.
Biased reporting. HM??? President Jimmy Carter made Peace between Israel and Egypt saving 1000’s of Jewish lives. UAE was never in war with Israel and not one suicide bomber from UAE. I cant recall a single time here on vin giving credit to President Jimmy Carter for the Peace with Egypt. Biased reporting? or worse.
