In a Facebook post published by the party, which was initially disqualified by the Central Election Committee for its support of terrorist but restored by the Supreme Court on appeal, a photograph of Abu Tin appeared with the caption “nobody saw or heard of anyone like you, may Allah bless you.”
The doctor allegedly shot at IDF forces when he arrived in a Red Crescent ambulance, ostensibly to help Palestinians wounded in the clashes with the IDF when it entered Jenin last week to arrest a wanted suspect.
IDF sources confirmed that the doctor was armed and was directly involved in the battle between Israelis and Palestinian terrorists. In a placard mourning his death, Dr. Abu Tin was pictured with five guns.
