The BBC has amnesia, and a short memory. Not once did it ever criticize British soldiers who were stationed in Palestine during the mandate, for their ill treatment of Jews. For example, in 1944, following the conclusion of the Neilah service by the Kotel, the British authorities for spite, prohibited the Jews from blowing the Shofar at the conclusion of Yom Kippur. When the Jews disobeyed that illegal directive, the British Army charged into the worshippers by the Kotel, and beat them without mercy, with their nightsticks, and blackjacks. One will never find any news coverage of that horrible event, in the records of the BBC.
