JERUSALEM (VINnews) — BDE: An Israeli woman was murdered and another person was seriously injured in a terrorist shooting which occurred south of Hevron on Monday morning. The terrorists apparently opened fire from a car on an Israeli car near the village of Beit Chagai south of Hevron, murdering a 40-year-old woman and seriously injuring another man. The woman was treated on scene and declared dead, and the man was taken to Soroka hospital in serious condition.

The dead woman was later identified as Batsheva Nagari HyD, a mother of three from Beit Chagai.

Batsheva had apparently taken a lift together with her 6-year-old daughter, who was not injured in the incident.
IDF forces are conducting a manhunt after the terrorists and have closed off the entrances to a number of Arab villages nearby. The IDF is assuming that the terrorist has entered the city of Hevron. The Duvdevan special forces unit and other units are conducting the searches for the terrorists.
Deputy Finance Minister Michal Waldiger responded to the incident, stating that “As long as terrorists will be allowed to move freely in the C Zone [which is under Israeli jurisdiction], we will unfortunately continue to see attacks and casualties. My heart is with the injured and I pray for good news. To the government which I am a member of, I say: Enough lawlessness at checkpoints and crossings!”
