JERUSALEM (VINnews) — The Israeli military censor cleared for publication that on Monday night, following joint intelligence and operational activity led by the IDF, Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and Israel Border Police, two Palestinian Arab residents of Hevron were arrested in connection with the murder of Batsheva Nagari HyD. The two allegedly opened fire on the car Nigeri was travelling in, firing 20 bullets which mortally injured her and seriously injured the driver.

During their initial questioning, the two linked themselves to the attack. Following their apprehension, the weapon that was allegedly used to carry out the attack was turned in and confiscated.
The suspects were transferred to the Shin Bet for further questioning.
The funeral for Nagari (42), a mother of three, was held on Monday evening in Beit Hagai in the southern Hebron Hills. Among those present was Minister of National Missions Orit Struck, who is a resident of Hevron.
Meanwhile, Aryeh Leib Gottlieb, a father of six who was driving Batsheva and her daughter and was injured in the attack, has been transferred from the operation room at Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva to the ICU. He remains in serious but stable condition.
Gottlieb succeeded in driving away from the scene of the shooting before he lost consciousness, thus possibly saving the life of Nagari’s daughter who was in the car and unharmed.
