Since the counterterror operation, the IDF has refrained from entering the camp, but in response to recent terror attacks, it was decided to operate in it.

When the forces entered the camp, a gun battle commenced between the soldiers and terrorists. PA sources report 5 people wounded in the exchanges of fire and 5 others arrested by IDF forces. During the course of the clashes, an IDF Maoz drone attacked  terrorists, injuring all of them, including one in serious condition. There were no injuries to IDF soldiers.

I24 news reports that the arrests were “high-caliber, high-level” terrorists from the Al-Ayash group which has attempted to send rockets to surrounding communities in the Samaria region.
