JERUSALEM (VINnews) — BDE: The IDF has cleared for publication the names of nine soldiers who fell in battle in Gaza over the weekend. In addition to the six who fell Friday, 15 soldiers fell in battle over the weekend, 14 of these in Gaza.

– Staff sergeant David Bogdanovski, 19, from Haifa, fell on Saturday in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
– Staff sergeant Orel Bashan, 20, from Haifa, fell on Saturday in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
– Staff sergeant Gal Hershko, 20, from Yiftah, fell on Saturday in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
– Staff sergeant Itamar Shemen, 21, from Lapid, fell on Saturday in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
– Master Sergeant (res.) Nadav Issachar Farhi, 30, from Herzliya, fell on Saturday in battle in the central Gaza Strip.
– Master Sergeant (res.) Eliyahu Meir Ohana, 28, from Haifa, fell on Saturday in battle in the central Gaza Strip.
– Sergeant first class (res.) Elyassaf Shoshan, 23, from Jerusalem, fell on Saturday in battle in the central Gaza Strip.
– Sergeant first class (res.) Ohad Ashur, 23, from Kfar Yona, fell on Saturday in battle in the central Gaza Strip.
The IDF also released the name of 21-year-old Staff Sergeant Roy Elias from the village of Tzofar, who was killed by an anti-tank missile in Khan Younis.

In addition, six soldiers were seriously injured in battles in Gaza on Saturday.
All the injured soldiers were evacuated to hospital for medical treatment, and their families were notified.

Bd’e. Rachmana Litzlon so many soldiers were killed in this war alone since Oct 7 over 150 Nebech. One has to wonder if a Frum Yid should support the war. I don’t know.But is there such a thing in Halacha these days about a war in general? in other words is it allowed Al Pi Halacha to go into a war putting yourself into danger because this will maybe prevent future killings. Let’s remember that we need to look at it as Yidden not as nationalistic Goyim.Just food for thought.
