Kol Hakovod!
Nice to see occasionally something positive written about frum Jews. Albeit, I don’t get what the big kiddish hashem here is. There are tens of thousand of volunteers thru out the USA. Are they all making kiddish hashem ? It’s simple moral value that people who live in a community should contribute and volunteer for vital services that’s needed in a community. We gotta stop bragging about our greatness when we do stuff that morally obligated.
We should only be in the news for positive stories!
Momish ah givolds
Terrific Kiddush HaSHem.
Just a bunch of parasites, hardly ever contributing to the community.
Parasites,
Parasites,
Parasites!
Oh right! I forgot!
And they only help their own!
Yeah! Right! Tell me about it!
Becoming a frum firefighter comes with a serious halacha issue regarding chillul Shabbos. A person needs to get hadracha from a Rov about how to minimize Chilul Shabbos when responding to calls. A person without Yiras Shomayim can have a big yerida from getting used to driving his car on Shabbos, operating his radio, for trivial calls. This isn’t the same as Hatzolah.
