NEW YORK (VINnews) — A Jewish youth affiliated with the Chabad community was stabbed and lightly injured in an antisemitic attack which occurred in Brooklyn Friday night at about 2 AM. The youth was taken to hospital and released a few hours later.

The youth, who is Israeli, was asked by the two attackers if he was Jewish. After he answered in the affirmative, the attackers stabbed him in the arm, apparently with a screwdriver.
The youth described the incident to Yaakov Behrman, a representative of the Chabad community in Crown Heights, and he publicized it on social media. The Anti-Defamation League affirmed the incident and said that “We are aware of this incident and are reaching out to law enforcement and community partners.”
Behrman said that the incident is being investigated as a hate crime and added that “This incident is deeply concerning, and we have full confidence in the NYPD’s ability to conduct a thorough investigation and apprehend the perpetrators.”
In the last few years, there has been a worrying increase in such antisemitic hate attacks in the US. Recently the Biden administration initiated a national strategy for combating antisemitism. The strategy includes various measures to improve safety and security for Jewish communities, which are designed “To prevent violence against Jewish communities through accountability, deterrence, and effective responses to attacks. The strategy aims to improve data collection on antisemitism, ensure vigorous enforcement of hate crime laws, and increase federal funding for the physical security of Jewish institutions.”
I agree with President Biden. White supremacy is completely out of control. This is but another example.
I guess the mayor will respond by filling the need for more interracial dinners with askanim, and representatives of the non- Jewish community of Crown Heights (:(:.

Behrman serves on the Mayor’s jewish advisory committee so I’m sure they’ll bring this up

Get out of NY people build Jewish communities in U.S States that will not tolerate blacks (usually) for stabbing Jews and will prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.
Chabad, who disdain their neighbors in crown heights and who walk around with an air of superority, complain that there are those in the black community who hate them as well. Well maybe if the Tanya didn’t talk about gentiles so dismissively you would be more respected.
reading this article made me sad– but when i read at the end that the biden admin has a vigorous strategy to fight anti semitism i realized that we are in good hands…
why would people attack yeshiva bachurim? is anyone inciting against yeshivos? just wondering….
