CZECH REPUBLIC (VINnews) — The Defense Minister of the Czech Republic condemned the UN over its resolution calling for Israel to pull out of Gaza, and declared that the country should fully withdraw from the disgraceful body.

Jana Černochová tweeted (translated from Czech): “Exactly 3 weeks ago, Hamas murdered over 1400 Israelis, more victims for their population than the militant Islamist organization al-Qaeda murdered in the US on 9/11. And only 14 countries, including ours, have spoken out clearly and understandably against this unprecedented terrorist attack perpetrated by Hamas terrorists! I am ashamed of the UN. In my opinion, the Czech Republic has no place in an organization that cheers on terrorists and does not respect the fundamental right to self-defence. Let’s get out.”

Friday’s UN resolution called for an “immediate, durable and sustained humanitarian truce leading to a cessation of hostilities.” The resolution did not condemn Hamas’s terror attack on Israel nor mention Hamas in a line calling for the release of the hostages. The resolution was supported by 121 countries and only 14 against.

The Czech Foreign Ministry stated that the Republic voted against the resolution because “several key elements were missing from the text” including a condemnation of Hamas’s attack and recognition of Israel’s right to defend itself.

It also criticized the resolution for not providing “assurances that the delivery of the urgent humanitarian assistance is not abused by Hamas and other terrorists.”

Czech Republic, than part of a united Czechoslovakia, was the first country to be conquered by Nazi Germany after the world tried to pacify Hitler. Clearly they have learned their lesson. Don’t pacify tyrants and murderers, destroy them before they kill us.
