New York – An irate police officer in an unmarked car was caught on video yelling obscenities and making fun of an Uber driver’s accent while ticketing the driver.

In a video posted Monday to YouTube and Facebook, an NYPD officer is seen yelling, “What f– planet are you from” and asks him how long he’s been in the U.S.
Accrdng to DNA Info (http://dnain.fo/1xTeeHe).The incident took place on the West Side Highway within the NYPD’s 6th precinct. The harassment started when the driver honked at the police officer when the officer attempted to park without using a blinker.
“If you’re going to park, you’re supposed to put your blinker on, that’s how it works,” says one passenger in the video.

The officer tells the driver, “Stop it with your mouth, stop it with your ‘for what, sir, for what, sir?’ stop it with that b——t,” at the start of the video. He then tells the driver to “sit in your f-g car” and slams the driver’s door shut. He also tells the driver that he would arrest him, but the driver, “isn’t important enough” for him to arrest.
The passengers tell the driver not to say anything and that they are recording the entire rant. When the driver tries to explain the situation, the officer screams, “Who do you think you’re talking to here?” the officer screams.
According to NY Daily News (http://nydn.us/1Dm5TfJ), Sanjay Seth is one of the passengers and the one who recorded the video. He wrote on his Facebook page, “”Our Uber driver, Humayun, was abused by a police officer today in New York. The unending rage, door slamming, throwing items into the car, threatening arrest without cause was bad enough — but the officer’s remarks at the end really took it to another level.”
Uber has reached out to the driver and offered support according to Uber spokesman Matt Wing.
The NYPD’s Internal Affairs Bureau is investigating the video.

Chutzpah….I hope they strip this guy of his badge and take away his pension! I’m sure complaints must have been lodged against him in the past but Police Brass must have looked the other way. Now there’s proof.
I am going to assume that everything is at seems and Ober driver is totally innocent. however even if you would have been wrong for what he did there is absolutely no excuse for the cop losing it
I am all in favor of cameras attached to the cops. First and foremost, it will expose “the witnesses” who testified that certain lowlife, who is thankfully dispatched from this world, raised his hands in the surrender gesture and plead “don’t shoot,” which of course never happened, as the contemptible racist liars they are. And numerous other such incidents where the cops are slandered, made to undergo torturous investigations and, when acquitted, still suffer the damage to their reputation, all this for doing the job of protecting us from lowlifes such as the one mentioned above.
As a tangential benefit, these cameras will keep rare crazy abusive cops like this one in line or get them booted out of the force.
This is cought on camera. I would say every 5th person stopped by a cop is mistreated…
Here is a list of new crimes that should be added to penal law
1 – Threatening arrest without proper cause
2 – Abuse of power, whenever someone is given lawful power over another subject, it should be a felony to abuse him, since this guy is defenseless.
3 – Banning police using vulgar language when on duty.
Honestly I don’t know what there is here to investigate.
Was he racist by asking him on his immigration status based on on skin color?
Ultimately I want to ask anyone defending the police in their fight with DeBlasio, do you really want to let these animals loose?

That’s New York’s “finest” for you. I like the CPR (Courtesy, Professionalism, Respect) emblazoned on the doors of NYPD cruisers. In my opinion, they haven’t earned it nor do they practice it.
