Chareidim In Gestures Of Selfless Love Towards Fellow Israelis In Need

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — After a very tough week for Israeli chareidim in which the media attacked the entire community repeatedly as a minority of chareidim continued to open schools and to clash with police, it is heartwarming to note the continuous acts of kindness initiated by members of the community towards their fellow Israelis.

A group of chareidi Avreichim (young married men) decided to bring Tu V’Shvat goodies to the chareidi Tomer battalion which has been stuck at its base for the last month.  The Avreichim came to the base and distributed the goodies to soldiers.

The Lev Yaakov Gmach (free loan society) located in Ashdod placed a “social refrigerator” in a local street. People who have extra food place it in the refrigerator and people in need can take whatever they want for free.

In a third example of the selfless attitude of Chareidi organizations, a clip of the Refuah Ve’Simchah organizations efforts to provide care packages for people in quarantine. 350 packages were prepared to be distributed around the country.
