JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Innumerous acts of selfless kindness are performed in the various COVID-19 departments around Israel by the devoted staff who risk their health time and again to administer treatment to patients. However the staff cannot always deal with the psychological effects of the disease on patients, who suffer tremendously from being sequestered in isolation, away from their families and friends.

A group of volunteers from the Chasdei Miriam organization decided to try and cheer up patients by entering the department in full protective gear and playing a concert for patients before Shabbos. The organization usually works with cancer patients but has now shifted its focus to aiding coronavirus patients.
